I know…I thought about writing some sort of comment or insight, but the statistic (if true) stands for itself.

That is scary… Especially with how many college graduates we have. Wonder how many of the bankruptcies are caused, in part, by the huge student loans studgents are taking out.

Very good point, Joe. What is even more sad is that many of those with student loan debt have no degree to show for it because they dropped out before graduating.

This is so true. My parents declared bankruptcy when they were in their 70s and my soon to be ex-husband is planning on declaring bankruptcy. I helped make the debt, not proud of that. My Mom graduated from college, my dad and husband did not.
Just finished Financial Peace University. For your own good, for the good of your family and your future, grow a backbone. When something is wrong, stand up and say it is wrong, and don’t back down.” You must walk to the beat of a different drummer. The same beat that the wealthy hear. If the beat sounds normal, evacuate the dance floor immediately! The goal is to not be normal, because as my radio listeners know, normal is broke.” ― Dave Ramsey, The Total Money Makeover: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness.
Financial peace isn’t the acquisition of stuff. It’s learning to live on less than you make, so you can give money back and have money to invest. You can’t win until you do this.” Dave Ramsey
I am getting off the dance floor.
