Do You Dread Public Speaking?

According to the TNS for LG Spring Cleaning Survey of 1,000 adults in March 2010, activities adults say they dread most are:

Public Speaking — 46%

Thoroughly cleaning their homes — 43%

Visiting the dentist — 41%

Visiting the DMV — 36%

Doing taxes — 28%

Waiting in line at the post office — 25%

I dread cleaning the house, visiting the dentist, visiting the DMV, doing taxes, and even waiting in line at the post office.

But public speaking? I absolutely love public speaking!

Perhaps you’re like me and you love public speaking. Perhaps you want to do something significant and make a difference in the lives of others and have always believed speaking would give you a great platform for making this happen. But just like me in the past, you don’t know how to make that dream a reality. You don’t have a clue about how to start or what to do to get booked as a speaker.

If this is you, then check out the Speak It Forward Boot Camp on October 25-27. I promise you that it’s the no-holds barred, information-rich jumpstart you need to stop wasting your time dreaming about being a speaker and get busy making it happen!

Hope you’ll join me October 25-27…

Kent, public speaking is something that I struggle with. I feel that I stumble over words and don’t speak well enough. While I can’t make it this year (will have just attended the Catalyst Conference a week or two prior), I look forward to making a future event.
