Do Well While Doing Good

Do Well While Doing Good - Reach Your Full Potential I pumped about the New Year!

Okay, I’m always pumped about the New Year. I love taking time out every December to review my goals from the past year to see what I accomplished and how I grew. Even more, I love setting goals for the New Year (not New Year resolutions, but SMART goals). I love making plans for how to strengthen my family, how to grow personally, and how to develop professionally. I love refocusing on being intentional.

But goal setting is not the only reason I’m pumped about the New Year. I’m pumped about this New Year because of all the ideas I have about how to do well while doing good for others!

You see, during the past month I’ve been thinking a lot about what I can do in the next 365 days to positively impact the lives of others while also growing my business. How to do well while doing good for others has always been a priority for me. However, as I wrote a few weeks ago regarding the goal setting template I am using this year, I want to GO BIG! I want to:

Grow. I want my goals to push me to grow and become a better man.

Over Deliver. I want my goals to push me to over deliver for my family, my community, and my clients and customers.

Blow The Doors Off. I want my goals to help me blow the doors off my business in a way that will positively impact ten times as many people as in the past.

Invest. I want my goals to help me invest my gifts, talents, and resources in a way that positively impacts the world.

Give. I truly believe it’s better to give than receive, so I want my goals to push me to give more to the world so that I can do well while doing good for others.

During the next few weeks I will share more with you about what I’ve been thinking and journaling regarding how to do well while doing good for others. The reason I want to share these ideas with you is because my blog this year will be all about you. You might have read a lot of “I” and “me” statements in this post, but read between the lines. Those “I” and “me” statements are actually about YOU!

More to come…

Question: Are your SMART goals designed to help you do well while doing good for others? If so, share a few here. Let’s learn and grow together!
